This Speed Champions scale, LEGO 2014 Ford GT500 MOC, is a two-tone speed machine!

A custom creation by Jack Sparrow from MOCpages, who originally purchased the LEGO Speed Champions Ford Mustang GT Kit (75871) that forms the basis for this MOC, but was inspired to build something more unique and personal from the original kit. So he set out to build his personal favorite, the 2014 Ford Mustang GT500 as featured here, and you have to agree that the results are pretty fantastic.

This MOC borrows heavily from the original kit; including the same blue and white two-tone color scheme, basic styling and wheels; but with finishing flourishes that make this GT500 a definite head turner compared to the original kit.

I purchased set #75871, since the Mustang is one of my favorite cars of all time. However, I wanted to build a different Mustang than what was the set. I settled on my favorite model, the 2014 GT500. This presented a unique challenge, and I met most of my own requirements. I may revisit this with an updated revision someday. Enjoy! – Jack Sparrow via Mocpages

Stanley,

This is a well-written piece, and I’m humbled that one of my creations has been blogged about. I’d like to post a link to this on my site of that would be ok. Keep up the good work! čÖé
